History:
First, and foremost, we are engineers who ride bikes. This is not a 'grind till it fits' kind of shop. We believe in quality, good fit and finish, and clear directions.TPO Parts was founded as Starwind & Hawking in April 2000 as a joint venture for managing the varied skills of it's founding partners as a combined business entity. The business went through several iterations, including work as web site authors, vehicle restoration, and general fabrication. By 2004, it was obvious that we needed some specialization, and our common interest was motorcycles, and Ducatis and MV Agustas in particular. Since that time, we have worked to become a direct manufacturer of quality parts for every sports bike enthusiast.
We keep our own staff of mechanical engineers and operators, ensuring that we can continue to innovate, drive costs down, and improve quality in our parts. We think you'll be pleased by the quality and pricing we offer. Where we cannot meet in-house manufacturing, we go to the best vendors and shops. You'll see us carrying K&N filters, but not cheap knock-offs. We require material certification documentation (for our billet), and piece-wise mechanical quality analysis (for our springs, anodization, and specialized tooling operations). With TPO Parts, we take the risk out of purchasing. Because our standards are so high, you don't have to worry about getting cheap or suspect parts.
